Driving School Zones and Speed Limits Issue - Sunday, August 18, 2024
What was reported in Saturday’s edition of The Facts about the times for school zone speed limits for secondary schools is incorrect. The school zones are not in effect from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. as the paper said. The school zone speed limits for all Angleton ISD secondary schools, which include Angleton High School, Angleton Junior High and CATS/PACE Academy, are in effect from 6:00-7:30 a.m. and from 2:30-3:45 p.m. The school zone signs that are in place reflect the correct times.

SMART Tag Update for Bus Riders - Thursday, August 15, 2024
The SMART Tag system is currently not working correctly because of an issue with the SMART Tag system. Yesterday, we learned from SMART Tag that their parent portal on the website is no longer active. SMART Tag is now requiring parents to use the SMART Tag app, which needs to be downloaded from your phone's app store.
We understand your frustration with this SMART Tag matter. If you have concerns or questions, we ask that you call the AISD Transportation Department at 979-864-8011. The team is manning their nine phone lines as calls come into the department, and we ask for your understanding and patience as the team works to answer all calls and questions.
We continue to work with our team to make sure all our students get to and from school safely and on time.

Help us Stuff the Bus on Saturday, August 10 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.! AISD will have a bus parked at the Kroger in Angleton to collect items for our AISD school nurses' clinics. See the flyer for a list of some of the items in need, and THANKS for supporting your schools!

Meet the team who makes the wheels go round!
Join the AISD Transportation Department on Monday, August 12 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. to meet your child's bus driver and pick up your child's SMART tag.
We hope to see you there!

Skyward will be down starting today, July 22 through July 24 due to the district's yearly Skyward rollover process and maintenance.
You will not be able to access Skyward Student Management, Family Access and New Student Online Enrollment (NSOE) during this time.

Message from Angleton ISD - The school district will be open at regular hours tomorrow, Thursday, June 20.

Reminder - You can visit www.angletonisd.net and click on the “Rezoning Info” link to review the maps of the potential new attendance zones for the 2025-2026 school year and to complete a brief survey/form for Angleton ISD to collect input and allow our community to ask questions about the changes starting in the Fall of 2025 when we open two additional schools – Heartland Elementary and Heritage Junior High. (AISD has been developing new attendance zones as well as a new transfer policy for the 2025-2026 school year - not next school year.)
