Due to the potential safety risks, portable propane heaters are not allowed at Angleton ISD events, including all sporting events. Their use presents significant safety hazards: fire risks, carbon monoxide exposure, tip-over burn risks, and fuel storage and leakage risks.

AISD encourages spectators at sporting events to bring their own heated seating pads or blankets and to dress in layers when at outdoor events.
