Earlier this afternoon, a fire alarm went off at Angleton High School. Students and staff were immediately evacuated. There was no fire. The alarm was triggered by a fog machine being used in the theatre area, but there was no fire and no smoke.
The Angleton Fire Department and Angleton ISD Maintenance Department responded to the alarm and determined there were no issues, and students and staff returned to school as normal.
If you have any questions, please contact the campus principal.
