Counselors

At Angleton Junior High, our school counselors are dedicated to supporting the success of every student, both academically and personally. We provide the tools and resources needed to help students thrive throughout their educational journey and beyond.

Our counselors meet with students individually and in small groups, deliver guidance lessons, and offer valuable resources to families. We also collaborate with parents, teachers, and the broader school community to coordinate programs, assist with scheduling, manage testing, and handle important documentation.

Our mission is to empower students to Achieve Excellencethe Wildcat Way. We are here to support the entire school community - we love what we do!

AJH is a "No Place for Hate" No Place for Hate® Campus

Angleton Junior High School is proud to be an Anti-Defamation League "No Place for Hate" school.

We are committed in making our campus a safe school with a culture that values all students and staff. We encourage you to visit this page to see the amazing things that we are doing to:

  • Build an inclusive and safe community in which respect is the goal, and all students can thrive.

  • Empower students, faculty, administration, and family members to take a stand against hate and bullying by incorporating new and existing programs under one powerful message.

  • Engage our school and community through the implementation of at least three campus-wide, anti-bias activities per year, which ADL helps to develop.

  • Send a clear, unified message that all students have a place to belong.
