Attention Parents of Students at AJH - Wednesday, January 29, 2025

Earlier today, Angleton Junior High School had a planned lockdown drill at the campus. There were some issues with the implementation of the emergency response system, which may have led some to think there was an actual concern. At no time were any students and staff in any danger. It was a standard drill that schools run to help ensure the safety of our students and staff and to be prepared.

The district is taking steps to correct the issues in the response system. We want to assure you that our top priority is the safety of our students and staff, and we will continue to work to make sure our schools remain safe environments for our students to learn.
