If you've driven down Downing Street you have noticed a new addition to the AISD Administration Building. The new Teacher of the Year banner has gone up on the wall. Southside's Karen Pointer was AISD's Elementary Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Pointer was also a finalist for the Region 4 Education Service Center Teacher of the Year. Angleton High School's Stefani Bass was named the Secondary Teacher of the Year.
