Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPs)
The Angleton ISD Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) program is dedicated to harnessing the power of our community to enhance student achievement and create a positive impact on our schools. Whether directly assisting students or supporting school operations, our volunteers play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission of fostering academic and social success for every student.
Our volunteers come from all walks of life—community members, grandparents, local business employees, and more. They share a common goal: to give back to the community and support our students. Volunteers can engage in a variety of activities, from reading with students and tutoring in specific subjects to helping with clerical tasks, working in the library, or assisting with special events. The opportunities to make a difference are endless.
Why Volunteer with VIPS?
Support Student Achievement: Help students excel academically and socially by providing direct assistance and encouragement.
Strengthen School-Community Connections: Foster a sense of community by connecting businesses, organizations, and individuals with local schools.
Empower Educators: Show appreciation for teachers and staff by meeting material needs and advocating for them in the community.
Adopting a school through VIPS offers businesses and organizations a unique opportunity for team-building and community engagement. By supporting our schools, sponsors not only contribute to the success of our students but also witness firsthand the positive impact of their involvement.
Join us in making a difference. Contact Angleton ISD to learn how you can become a VIPS volunteer and help shape the future of our community.
