Candidate Eligibility Requirements
The Board of Trustees is comprised of seven positions. The seven trustees serve staggered three-year terms. All AISD residents who meet eligibility requirements specified in Board Policy BBA(LEGAL) may run for a position in the Board of Trustee election. Two board positions will be up for election in May, 2023.
The first day to file for a place on the ballot is Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

The District will accept applications on regular business days from January 18, 2023 to February 16, 2023 between the hours of 8:00 am – 4:30 pm and February 17, 2023 between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
