Purpose of CTE Advisory Committee

The Angleton ISD CTE Advisory Committee exists to advise, assist, support, and advocate for the Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. The committee has no legislative, administrative, or programmatic authority and is advisory only. The committee works cooperatively with school personnel in planning and implementing committee work. Members are volunteers who agree to share expert knowledge associated with potentially all areas of CTE. Additional industry specific committees may also be  implemented at the discretion of the district. The committee forms four functions: (1) Advise, (2) Assist, (3) Support, and (4) Advocate.
