District Advisory Committee
The District Advisory Committee (DAC) is a committee that advises a school district's superintendent and school board on educational goals, performance objectives, and classroom instructional programs. The DAC is required by Texas state law and is composed of various representatives, including parents, teachers, administrators, community representatives, and other school staff.
The DAC's purpose is to promote excellence in education for all students through community representation. In addition to helping develop the annual District Improvement Plan, the DAC helps select the district Teachers of the Year.
