Purpose

The Seasonal Grant program supports Angleton ISD's mission to prepare students academically and socially to become responsible and productive citizens by providing the district with grants to fund appropriate projects and equipment.

Goals

1. Fund select projects or items that will help AISD meet its academic goals. These projects or items must be one-time Foundation funding opportunities that will not generate recurring Foundation funding obligations.

2. Recognize and reward (i.e., teachers, campuses, and programs) for innovative and creative academic approaches.

3. Provide funding that encourages and facilitates the refinement of academic methods that are supplementary and impact learning beyond the traditional classroom approach.

Applications

Seasonal applications are reviewed three times a year and voted on during the regularly scheduled board meetings:

• July Launch

• Due Last Day of August

• September Board Voting

• October Distribution

Winter Cycle

• November Launch

• Due Last Day of school in December

• February Board Voting

• March Distribution
