Brrrrrr. It's Code Front time! AISD's had another ☃Code Front❄ blow in! Each day of the Code Front students can engage in a new computer science experience from the activities listed below. The activities range in difficulty for elementary, middle, and high school level coding and include lessons such as designing web pages with HTML, bringing a fuzz to life, developing interactive art, and even competing in code combat!

Once you finish an activity in a level, be sure to submit the Completion Form at the bottom to receive a certificate and a chance to win cool prizes!

New this year, the "Intermediate" tier features two AI-infused activities.  Dance Party AI Edition and AI for Oceans.  

Coding is something everyone can do! You can even learn the basics of coding without a computer. This activity packet is designed for children and their grown-ups to learn some of the fundamentals of coding together through interactive activities. Print this packet (double-sided is fine!) and get coding at home!

CodeBytes are easy-to-digest, 20-minute interactive lessons that streamed during Computer Science Education Week. Every episode features a new lesson that blends computer science with real-world topics. One day, students will use Dance Party to get creative and express themselves. Another day, they’ll explore environmental sustainability with Artificial Intelligence.
