Volunteers

The AJH School Market is always looking for volunteers to help give back to the community. They hope to have 20-25 volunteers at each market. Volunteers help by helping give out food, placing food bags or boxes in vehicles, keeping the market area clean, entering intakes, and to supervise.

There is volunteer training today, September 10th, at Angleton Junior High, in room C412. The first session is from 3:10pm-3:50pm. The other session is from 3:55pm-4:45pm.

The School Market is a program through the Houston Foodbank that allows school districts to partner with them to help try to fill the gap of hunger with middle and high school kids. Anyone can use the school market starting with middle school kids to adults.
