Central Elementary's Norma Tanner-Tinnin was selected as the Brazoria County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Latin Festival Hispanic Hero Teacher for 2024 for Angleton ISD. This award recognizes outstanding leadership, professional accomplishments, community involvement, and unwavering commitment to the well-being of students. The decision was made by district employees through a voting process. Last weekend, she was presented with the award at the Latin Festival at the Pearland Town Center.
