The district has reviewed the feedback gathered from the open survey that asked stakeholders to share input and ask questions about the upcoming rezoning that will take place in the 2025-2026 school year and about the preliminary drafts of new attendance zones presented. After reviewing the input collected, AISD administration met with a demographic company to redraft preliminary zones and make appropriate changes based on survey results.
The new, redrafted preliminary attendance zones are not final. In October 2024, a second committee made up of parents, community members, and campus staff will meet to provide feedback to the AISD administration on the suggested redrafted attendance zones. The final zones will be determined in November and presented to the AISD Board of Trustees for approval at the December board meeting.
