Our Culinary Arts students are making history with the NASA Hunch Program! The Spacecats—Jose Aguilar, Max Baker, Mark Mainez, and Darius Warner—competed in the Astronaut Culinary Challenge, creating a Chicken & Chickpea Pasta dish that’s out of this world!
After researching food processing and nutrition requirements for space, their dish made the TOP 10 in the nation and will compete at NASA’s Johnson Space Center on April 8, 2025!
If they win, their pasta dish will be prepared by NASA’s Food Lab and sent to the International Space Station for astronauts to enjoy!
